Our method

The sample is taken after humane euthanasia by CO2.

The animal is then bled by incision of the abdominal aorta prior to the extraction of the organs requested.

The organs are placed in a labeled and tagged container; it is then frozen (-20 ° C freezing standard).

Possible options

  • Liquid nitrogen freezing (-80°C).
  • Other packaging on request.
  • Specific sampling protocol on demand.
  • Inclusion of organ harvesting in a custom protocol (e.g. DIO).

Our added value

  • Traceability of samplings.
  • Adaptation of the model to the needs and objectives of the researcher.
  • Standardised samplings on request.
  • Ethical review process by our IACUC (MESR No. 078).
